Our out sides sales rep Mike Mchue sent me a few photos from when he recently went to The Flow Skatepark to gang out with Craig and Jutt.
Here's Jutt Wood doing one of the biggest flips ever at The Flow.
Mike was actually riding his bike, which is a rare sight, and here is a awesome tweak air, shredding some wood, and drinking some sweet Monster.
There are 2 contests coming up this weekend, on Saturday there's a Foundations Jam in Long Beach. There will be a Flatland, Street, and Park Jam. Then on Sunday at Da Compound, they are throwing their last contest of the year. It's going to be a team jam, like they did last year. This is going to be really fun as usual, so try to make it out.

What's your name, age, and where do you live?
My name is Tony Cardona, 23years of growth, and I'm currently posted in Austin,TX!!
How many people do you live with?
There is 6 dudes in the house all together, me being the shitbag on the couch, and then there's 4 dogs, and an albino pole cat named Zagger, o, I almost forgot about the fleas, there's a loT of them living with us too..
Where did you live before?
On the eastern part of Pennsylvania, in a crap steel mill town with some amazing friends and stories!!
What's your frame of choice?
I'm definitely syked on the LTF, but if there's some reproduction Holmes in the works, I need to get my hands on one of those!!!
How/when did you get into BMX?
O man, I think about this all the time, and how its different for everybody, and for me, I can't sit still, and ever since I was a kid and my Dad took training wheels off, I always had fun on bikes, that's the thing is how I get the same feeling every time I cruise my bike, and its always kept me happy so I keep doing it, it feels like an extension of my body these days, and I don't get to live unless I ride, I literally go nuts kind of. My family was always moving around, and for the most part being dicks to me and everyone else around them, so I just tried to always go ride and stay away from my crazy ass house. At a young age it sucks to lose your best friends, but my bike has been my best friend that never leaves my side...haha sometimes that fucking thing is my worst enemy!!!
You just got hit by a car, what happened?
O shit man, well I was leaving the house, it was about 2:30 in the afternoon, and I live close to UT baseball fields, so there's a lot of parking and blind intersections. I drop in my front porch steps and cruise down the street, turn around and look at Chase, and he says, "take it slow dude, I'm chilin..". After that, I look in front of me into the intersection five houses away from home and I had to get halfway into it before I could see around parked cars and by that time a Buick Regal had tagged me, that's the last thing I remember. I woke up in the hospital and Chase was there to piece the rest together for me, luckily my upper half landed in the grass a few yards away, I remember pulling out dread locked pieces of grass and hair, that was shitty...but either way all I suffered was some tissue damage in my left foot and ankle, it was the size of a grapefruit!!
You work the door at a bar right? Any crazy stories?
Dude, within 2 weeks of working there I got a black eye!! I'd have to say one that sticks out, o dude this dipshit drove his truck over a ledge behind my work!! There's like a handlebar height ledge I think about grinding all the time while I'm working, but this dude was so wasted, he drove over the curb of the parking lot he was in, and over the ledge into the alley way of my work!! He was hanging on by the A frame, before the cops could come a bunch of dudes helped him get it back up, which I thought was pretty fucking cool. Hahah, it's always funny watching drunk people fall down, especially when we have to "help" them out!!
What are you into besides BMX?
For a long time I had a lot of shit blocking my mind from opening up, but over the years of traveling and experiences, friendships, and beers drank, I've learned a lot about myself. A daily fix of THC is one of these things, making your own food is totally worth it, any kind of live music to get loose too. A lot of my boys up North are pool sharks, buy I've been up-in my game, I got an acoustic a little while ago but I haven't really been giving it or my brain the attention it deserves, same goes for the art pad and pastels I received a little while ago. Man, in high school, I used to make ceramic pots and sculptures, that was so fun, I'd like to acquire the things necessary to do that in my own back yard some day, I could make so many kick ass things!!
What kind of music are you into?
Well this could go on forever, or I could make some kind of MySpace list here, but instead, I'll tell you that I'm currently listening to The Dandy Warhol's, "cool as Kim deal", and that my favorite band is the Misfits.
What are your top 5 BMX videos of all time?
My brain hurts right now, and I'm going to list 5 influential videos to me that come off the top of my head in 30 seconds, Anthem Video, Seek and Destroy, All time Low, Crusty Demons of dirt 3, and BMX Inferno.
Do you have any good BMX stories?
Last summer, I attended a punk show in downtown Catasauqua, population like 300 or something, this town is fuckin tiny, it made no sense at all that the band The Vibrators were going to play in and old biker bar, well either way after the trails, My boy Treivel and I put on our Do-not-care faces guzzled some 40's in the garage and went to the show nice and lubed up in a couple of asshole suits!!! This place was so bummed on being over taken by young punks, the old bikers had leather vests, long grey hair, totally typical, and we were shredin there spot, as soon as we got there we found a room full of food and ice cream, well me being the one on a budget of 200 dollars month at the time, I "found" some ice cream, and i had 2 quarts of ice cream in the jacket of this suit, and I am walking around kind of dancing a little bit and spoon feeding my friends ice cream, it was so fun!! Well next thing I know I'm in a headlock getting dragged outta the place looking at the ground, I finally managed to roll over and see that Treivel was behind me about to knock the shit outta this dude!! Haha, so the dude lets me go to try and fight Treivel, Treivel knocks him one, I got him good once in the head, and then some other angry local grabbed his beer bottle and smashed Treivel in the head and hits me in the forehead with the same bottle!! I hit the ground and got drug out, blood all over my face, same with Treebs, and everyone at the show was like, what the fuck, why'd you guys get tossed out and then bottled?? Well we wondered the same thing, and we went back for round 2, we called these guys out, we were covered in blood piss drunk, and this guy is looking me in the bloody face while Treivel is behind him taking his knees out, and there's a crowd of angry punkers swarming, man it was the shit!!! This pussy put his tail between his legs and went back in the bar to call the cops, he went from being a tuff guy local, who beats up kids with bottles for having fun, to put in his place like a scared little bitch!! Haha, this guy's expression was like he had looked death in the face and challenged it, it was awesome!!
What motivates you to ride? Or dig?
Fun, the amount of fun I could be having or will be having, and the amount of fun my friends could be having.
What kind of plans or goals do you have for the future?
Right now, I want to travel as much as possible, but I have been doing that on ground zero for so long, just running it and couch surfing, which is fucking sweet, but I'd like to have a room of my own to look forward to coming home to, and somewhere my dog can think of as hers too. So I'm saving some money to have a place lined up by August, so that way I can have my room paid for and jam out to the east coast and be with my boys again for a couple of months!!!
Do you want to give any thanks or shout outs?
Thanks to you for interviewing me, getting a chance so speak up is pretty cool, one of those things I maybe didn't realize before. With that also a big thank you to Chris Moeller for everything he's done along with the rest of the S&M team and staff .HUGE FUCKIN Thanks to Tina and Tom Williams for molding the Austin scene into what it is, and for Empire and all the amazing things they do for our entire community, by that I mean BMX.. Matt Coplon& Profile, thanks for putting up with my shit, cant wait till August bud!! I got to give a shout out to my man CHUNK!! Thanks to ABE and Treivel for the best summer ever, thanks to Pete Stewart for being the best dude in the world, thank you Milwaukee for PBR, Chicago for the hard and good times, thanks to my boy Joe Trimaki for bringing me home, Thanks to Crandad for a boatload of good memories, thanks to my roommates for dealing with my insanity and dirtiness, Chase you hook it up thanks dude, it means a lot, and thanks to anyone else I forgot.
Is there anything else you want to say?
A ton, but there's not enough brain power or time right now, so hers what I have to say to the youngsters, grab a shovel!! Haha, seriously though, ride bikes, whenever you want, however you want, and have as much fun possible everyday of your life.
Over and out.
