Ride To Glory And Subrosa Trip…

June 4th, 2008
Danny Hickerson has left the house to continue his travels through Europe with his friend Mike. We had a great time whilst Danny was here and he sure showed us how to take the frame stand to the next level! Thanks for everything and we wish you good luck on your travels. Cookie and Scott have been shredding the streets and finding yet more new lines to film. Niki came back for the weekend and went on yet another night riding mission! So all in all a productive week considering the bad weather we've had. This week has seen the house become all but empty. Sebastian Keep left for Ride To Glory with Dan Lacey, Dan Cox, Davey Watson, Mark Love, Derek Strickland and the weeks media team Joe Cox and H Man. You can follow Federal's progress on the Federal Bikes website and at Ride UK. Ryan Sher has ventured on a trip along the coast with Subrosa team mates Eli Platt and Hoang Tran to gather footage for the Brighton Ain't Ready DVD. Next week begins the last week of filming and we have the pleasure of Subrosa as our last guests, so we're gonna make it a good one and go out with a bang!

Seventies House Update…

May 26th, 2008
We've been as busy as ever in the Seventies house. Federal and Lotek's Dan Cox, Mutiny's Josh Bedford and Kink's Cookie have all made the trip down to the seaside and have been helping us explore some new areas of the city. The footage has been flowing and we've ridden up plenty of hills and then raced back down them. Brighton locals Dayson, Duncan and Bowl have been kind enough to be our guides and helped show us the way. Scott's foot is almost healed and he's been busy on the streets once again. Ryan and Danny are still in the house and have been soaking up the sun and enjoying the beach and bbq's. We made the trip along to Spooks trails in the week for an afternoon session and rode some of the many amazing jumps they have on offer, a big thanks to the locals for letting us ride there. Hastings party boy Waffle has also joined the crew for a few days so a good week is in order.

From Kink to T-1, Shadow and Subrosa…

May 20th, 2008
A lot's happened since Kink have left the house. Firstly we'd like to thank Kink for everything, we had such a blast with these guys and collected a lot of footage along the way. Last week T-1's Danny Hickerson joined us, along with Shadow's Karl Poynter, Ryan Sher and Johnny Devlin and Fit and Orchid rider Scott Ditchburn who also made the journey down. Ryan will be staying all the way through until Subrosa arrive, so expect some action from the man. The house is rammed and we've been out riding everyday through the city clocking that footage and enjoying some night life antics too. Saturday saw the opening of Brighton's BMX shop 'Brighton BMX Co'. We all went along to see how things were looking and were very impressed to say the least. Bob has done an amazing job and expect things to be rocking there from now on. Scott took a heavy slam today and now has his foot submerged in ice to quicken that healing. Tomorrow is a new day and we shall be busy.

Brighton BMX Co shop opening…

Getting Kinky In Brighton…

May 9th, 2008
We've been kicking it this week with the Kink crew and the weather has been quite simply amazing! We've been out riding all day everyday soaking up the sun and working on those farmer tans. We've covered some serious miles and the boys have delivered, from sessions at the Level and the warehouse to Kemp town and the seafront. The crew all decided to shed some hair and go skin head in honor of this beautiful sunshine. We've managed to squeeze in the usual nightlife times and celebrated Jessie's 21st birthday and later in the week watched some Kink packaging burn on the beach fire. We have two days left with this crew and the sun is still blazing down, we couldn't ask for more right now.

Macneil Out Kink In…

May 2nd, 2008
The Macneil week was a blast, thanks for everything guys. All the time spent with this crew was so productive and a few things got pulled that had been asking to be done since we arrived here. We rode an old race track that is in a serious need of repair and is surrounded by gypsy's, but we had one of the most fun filled sessions yet. They left for Paris on the weekend which left just Dan Lacey and Nate Moroshan in the house. Sunday night was the Brighton priemiere of Joe Cox's new video Tomorrow We Work. It went down a treat and make sure you watch this video as you won't be disappointed. We had a few good days of riding with all the locals and clocked up some last minute Nate footage. Nate left us on Wednesday after his mammoth seventy day stay! He has been the longest resident in the house by far and we had so many good times. We all headed out Tuesday night to say farewell and got down and dirty. Thanks for everything Nate, we'll miss you around here. Today the first of the Kink riders arrived, Darryl Tocco and Sean Sexton. We have two more riders arriving over the weekend so it's gonna get full on again very quickly. We're so stoked to have them here and can't wait to get out there and get the tapes rolling.

Macneil Are Back…

April 23rd, 2008
Mutiny have vacated the house and made way for Macneil. We had some great times riding and hanging out with the Mutiny guys, so thanks for everything. Ryan unfortunately took a slam right at the beginning of his stay and was out for the rest of the trip with a bad ankle, but he still battled on and managed to cruise around and have a drink or two. Roey and Niki clocked some serious footage and were a great addition to the house. Federal, Primo and Orchid's Mark Love has been spending some time with us and managed to increase his clip count, a very productive week. We now have in the house Macneil's Harrison Boyce, Wade Lajar, Alistair Whitton, Travis Collier and their newest member Wolfman. This is Harrison's second time here and must've brought the sunshine with him again, as today was one of the hottest days we've had so far. Today we cruised the seafront with the locals and rode a few spots, Travis showed us his flatland skills and Ali managed to ride the art piece without any wood for the first time. Everyone is now pretty tired and are resting up for tomorrow.
