Exotic Car Shoot
Mixing It Up

Long story short: I was sick of taking the same photos at City and wanted to know if I could shoot some photos using the floodlights and only the floodlights as a lighting source…turns out you can, here are the results (except for the first two, that is when I got sick of taking the normal City photos). So here is a gallery different from most of the City photos posted on here.

thanks to all who came out and supported the jam. sucks that some people had a rough time and felt the need to break into others cars, but thats their own issue. anyone who feels they wanna come out and shred any time just feel free to give myself, deli, jeff or david a call and well work something out!

Desktop Backgrounds

Yep, just like the graphic says, its time for desktop backgrounds once again. I’ll be making these every so often, so be on the lookout for more. This is the team version, click the link below to go to the downloads page and hook up your computer.

James Stewart Is Sick!
My buddy Jake from work rides motocross and showed me a ton of videos of James “Bubba” Stewart getting crazy on a motocross bike. If you think Chase Hawk has good whips, you’ll definitely dig the clip above. I’m sure a lot of you may have seen this, but it is completely insane.

Intense weather
Lansing got hit pretty hard last night with a nasty storm. This is the scene outside of my house right now, super gnarly. We were up at 6:30 cutting branches and clearing our driveway so that we could go get gas to run the generator. Oh yeah, the trees fell right onto the power, cable/Internet, and telephone wires, and ripped the power lines clean off the street pole. Now it’s a waiting game. Coincidentally enough, we are on a different grid from most of the streets nearby and would have kept power had a tree not killed our lines. I can’t complain too much though, the tree missed our garage and house, and about the entire town is without power, so we’re not in this alone. So while I wait for power, I’ll be checking out the latest issue of Dig, which is super dialed and has a vibe more like the older issues had. Check it out, the lino gonzales interview is worth the price alone. Good luck to everyone else out there who is dealing with the storm!

I’m making this post in an attempt to make the site more dummy-proof and user friendly. Lately there have been a ton of photo galleries on the blog, which has resulted in a ton of little thumbnails on the main page. Not everyone has a blazing-fast internet connection, and loading hundreds of images will put a strain on your computer/internet. Therefore, Crossroads will now be using the “continue reading” links in posts so that heavy graphics and galleries can be viewed on a separate page, when you know what to expect and are ready for it. This should make our site a little faster and easier to use. So whenever you see one of these links in a post, click it…
…and you’ll be taken to the gallery or video or whatever you want to see. Hope this helps everyone out, since there have been problems reported to me lately. Thank you for everyone’s help.
