éclat is proud to announce the addition of Sean Burns to the team roster. Sean joins Chester Blacksmith and Ashely Charles on éclat, and has been riding select components from éclat for the past two months. “Loving the éclat cranks,” said Sean just this week. Yup, éclat’s range is holding up to even Sean Burns.

Burns calls Pembroke, Massachusetts home, and also rides for Metal Bikes, Bonedeth Products, DuFFs Shoes, Kill City Jeans, Whipperman Chains and Dick Maul’s Bike Shop. éclat is psyched to have him on board and to finally get the official word out.

éclat will be announcing several more additions to the team over the next few months, and will also be working with Sean on a line of signature t-shirts and components.

This Sunday the 24st at 13:30 CET the best Wakeboarders and BMX riders will head down to Hamburg for the second stop of the T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds. Sunday the Wasserski-Arena in Pinneberg will be the location to be for Wakeboarding, BMX action and live concerts. Freecaster.tv will be on site to bring all the water and bike action again to your screen. During the entire day we will also be broadcasting concerts from Anti Flag, Mando Dio and Pennywise

At august 9th in Jurmala,Dubultu beach (Latvia) a competition RIDE IT SUMMER JAM 08 took place. These competition was the largest in East Europe and really - beach had never seen something like this.

A new skatepark was built specially for the event. BMX, skateboard, inline and MTB competition took place there. In the see there was kite and wake competition too.

More than 3000 people came to watch this event.

The worst thing was that the rain came down 4 time but the jam organisers got park dry out in few minutes  and the competition started.

This competition was a qualification for Baltic riders for  RIDE IT WINTER JAM 09, who will take place in Riga (Latvia, January 31th).

Some riders from other countries wanted to come, RIDE IT WINTER JAM 08 winner Michael Beran (CZE), but Michael broke his arm  one day before the competition and  he had to get a surgerry. The riders from Russia couldn`t come, because they hadn`t their visas in the time..

The riders from Germany had the most terrible experience, because  their bags with their bikes and all clothes got lost at the airport..   So They arrived without bikes and clean clothes..they get their stuff one day after  event.

In the BMX group was a real competition between Baltic riders.

That doesnt change the quality of the show. And as in Latvia - the people screamed from the tribines and cheared up the riders

The afterparty was amazing - beautiful girls, a crowd of people and everybody had fun

And there was HOT in the afterparty (really hot),because the club had so much people in it the first time :)..

RIDE IT WINTER JAM will take place in Riga - the hall of Kipsala (one of the the largest halls in Latvia).There will be built a new skatepark and everybody who will ride is invited. More info late in  www.jam.lv/eng/

I was browsing the for sale section of one of my favourite VW sites and stumbled across this beauty. Sounds good from the ad

“I have a custom bmx, which i bought in parts. It is a german bike originally and is great buikd quality. I bought parts from it and then built it up, building a complete bike. I had the bike proffesionally powdercoated, everything on it is powdercoated, and has a great finish, the frame is white and everything else is black apart from the pedals as i found the ones that i got powdercoated to e too big. It has disk brakes front and rear, the front one needs adjusting for it to work properly, the wheels need to be sorted out as i have recently had them powdercoated and were taken apart, so the spokes need to tightened up properly to prevent them from buckeling, please bear in mind this is a easy fix it also has a racing/stunt chain which is supposed to be stronger, it is quite a light bike compared to others that i have had. I have had it for a while and was my pride and joy of building it and riding it, but now have a moped so dont need pedal power anymore so its up for sale and also want to rais some money for a cage and some of my insurance.

This bike is in very good condition, with no scratches as far as i know, apart from a chip, where a stone must have hit it but is on the underside of the frame so is hardly noticeable.

Tyres and innertubes are all new and all maxxis, widest tyre i could get for that wide look dub style.”
