Our good friends at Evans just put together this advert for issue 2 of The Albion, featuring our man Jeremy photographed by Sean Newton. Very stoked on this… by all means necessary, get your hands on issue 2 of The Albion because if you thought issue 1 was good, wait till you see issue 2. It’s amazing. Definitely one of the best BMX magazines ever made (I feel somewhat qualified to say this as I have a collection of BMX mags going back to 1981, and made a few between 1989 and 2008…).

BIKE CHECK: Cyril’s Clearcoat Tech2
This bike is built to ROAST!
Another sweet ride from France, this time from Cyril Allanche from central France, who told us; “My name is Cyril Allanche, I’m from Clermont Ferrand in center of France. I am 34 years old and I start the season of trail with my new and fabulous Deluxe bike! My frame is a Tech2 XL cleancoat and it is so perfect, with it my riding feels 10 years younger.” More photos and info? Sure…
“I have also the Deluxe XXL bars, Deluxe Superlight seat, Deluxe seatclamp and I am waiting for my new Deluxe pedals. Thanks for making good products with a good spirits!” – Cyril.
“My trail is the REVIVAL TRAIL at Cournon, a little town near Clermont ferrand, we have a Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/revivaltrail and here a little video http://www.zapiks.fr/revival-trail-invitational-c.html.” – Cyril.
Keep the photos of your Deluxe bikes comin’!

Vital‘s coverage of THAT jam down in Austin. Good times all round, this is how it should be done…
Max’s Prototype, stolen at FISE
Max went to the FISE contest over the weekend just to check it out, and his new bike – featuring a prototype 2012 Sacre Bleu signature frame – was stolen out of his car. SUCKS. So, if you’re in the area, or if you know any info about this, or have seen a one-off raw-finish Deluxe frame with red and gold parts (above) let us know. Email us, if you know anything… keep ‘em peeled, let us know.
Joey Gough, faster than you
When Joey’s not taking podium spots at WC events, she’s riding this: her custom-painted V-brake Deluxe.
Massive congratulations to Joey Gough, who pretty much blew away all of the established competition at the World Cup MTB events up in Fort William, Scotland, this weekend. Entering Elite Women’s 4X for a laugh, she nearly won the whole damn event and if it wasn’t for clipping a pesky rock while in the lead she’d have taken victory easily – instead of the close second place. Still, bloody well done Joey. SECOND at the Elite level at a WC event. For a laugh. Girl’s got SKILLS.

VIDEO: Toast Jam by Stew Johnson
Saving the best till last? Could be – we’ve had videos from Austin here all week, but to be honest I can’t get enough of the Texas Toast Jam, and here’s Stew Johnson‘s video account of last weekend’s event. Sit back and enjoy…
