Johnny Devlin Bike Check

Johnny Devlin is one of the nicest people I have met during my BMX travels and I am really excited to hear that he is back at it! See what Johnny is currently riding thanks to his new Shadow bike check.
Jeremiah Smith Off Snafu.

Jeremiah Smith is off Snafu which is odd, because he’s still on Failure (as far as we know) and as of today we now know that both Failure and Snafu are in the hands of The Beard. What tangled webs we weave.
Jason Enns In “Heroes And Madmen”

It’s crazy to think that Jason Enns had a full video part by the time I was 8 years old. Over the years, it’s been awesome to see how his style and riding has changed from toothpick half barspins on half pipes to over toothpick stalls on fences. (Volume Bikes Jason Enns 2012 Edit) There are plenty of throwback 90′s moves like x-up grinds and abubacas in this video part. In full jean short steeze, here’s Enns tearing apart Canada in “Heroes and Madmen”.

Matthias Dandois Got A Tattoo Of Aaron Ross’ Twitter.

Just when you thought you’d seen it all… I wonder if I can get Catfish to get a tattoo of the TCU Twitter. Seen on Odyssey.
Mike “Rooftop” Escamilla On Xyience Nutrition.

Rooftop got signed to Xyience. AKA the energy drink they are always shouting out before every UFC fight (because they are, in fact, owned by the UFC). This means if you talk shit on Rooftop, Tito Ortiz will come to your house and kick your head in with Herb Dean just standing there watching. Check out the press release after the jump.
LAS VEGAS (May 6, 2012)—XYIENCE has added Fuel TV host, stuntman and pro BMX rider Mike “Rooftop” Escamilla to its team of brand ambassadors. Escamilla will represent both the Xenergy energy drink and XYIENCE supplements brands through 2012. As a part of his contract, Escamilla will make personal appearances for XYIENCE Xenergy, the official energy drink of the UFC, at key MMA and action sport events as well as beverage industry and health and fitness tradeshows. In addition, his image will appear on the brand’s website and advertising campaign.
Escamilla, 34, rolled onto the BMX scene when he was just 14 years old, landing first place podium finishes in contests like the 1996 ESPN X Trail Street Contest and the ’98 Hard Trick Contest at the Goodwill Games. Named one of Ride Magazine’s most influential riders of the 1990s, his accomplishments include breaking the world records for the longest BMX back flip—measuring 62 feet 2 inches—and the longest 360 performed on a BMX bike, both at X Games 11 in August 2005 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Escamilla is the current co-host of Fuel TV’s “Strangers in Danger” with BMX rider Zack “Catfish” Yankush. The pair travels the world taking part in strange rituals and bizarre stunts such as eating a live octopus, working as sewer divers in Mexico and occasionally breaking bottles on their foreheads. The show is in its second season.
“Mike’s career as an athlete and in media embodies the values that XYIENCE supports—creating a lifestyle that’s centered around one’s passion for a sport,” says John Lennon, XYIENCE president. “He’s been a pioneer in BMX and the audience he reaches is inclusive of MMA fans, but also enables XYIENCE to communicate with a broader group of those committed to an active lifestyle. We are looking forward to a successful relationship.”
The show isn’t Escamilla’s first on-screen appearance, however. He made his feature film debut in 2002, alongside Vin Diesel in “XXX” playing a ramp truck passenger. He’s also spent time doing stunt work for NBC’s “The Cape,” “Chuck” and “Outsourced.” Escamilla is also a regular on The Learning Channel’s (TLC) hit show, “LA Ink.”
“I am thrilled to be part of this dynamic and evolving brand,” says Escamilla. “XYIENCE and I are cut from the same cloth and share a commitment to excellence. With XYIENCE constantly exploring new opportunities and expanding its market, I’m looking forward to helping reach new audiences and solidifying XYIENCE’s reputation for being the leader in sports nutrition and energy.”
Mike Aitken In Fit’s “F-It”.

Oh yeah. This is what I’m talking about. F-It is an odd piece of history in the Fit museum (it was edited by the guys from 411 skate magazine and includes some of the fastest cuts in the history of modern video editing) but there was some undeniably classic riding, like this amazing section from Aitken himself, fresh off the Mosh team. Sit down and learn, kids.

Spanish BMX pimp, Sergio Layos shows you his sexy Fly set up at the trails. Valve cap matching your frame = swag.
The Con Mixtape

The Con just sent through this 12 minute mix tape featuring a bunch of riders including, Bruno Hoffman, Max Gaertig, and Boy Janhssen. If you’ve got some time to shit down and watch this, it is totally worth it. There is a ton of really awesome stuff in it and the ender of the whole thing is pretty insane.
