Interbike 2011: Deluxe – More BMX Videos

Word from Chad Clifton, who has this beaut of a 2010 Deluxe in brown with blue parts – and it looks dialled: “My name is Chad Clifton and I am from Kentucky over in the United States. Anyhow, I wanted to ask about Mark Potoczny’s frame and when it is going to be available.  Last I had heard from him it was going to be sometime around the end of summer. I am dying to get my hands on one of  them as soon as they become available, as I am ready to finally replace the 2010 Deluxe frame that I have been riding for what seems like forever now. I am attaching a picture of my current set up as it has recently been repainted the same brown color that it was originally. I love this thing and will definitely be a devoted Deluxe rider and supporter as long as I am able to ride, and probably even when I am no longer able to ride, which hopefully is a long long time from now.  You have a great company, no doubt the best in the game in my opinion, with the best feeling frames I have ever owned!” Thanks for the feedback Chad, really appreciate it – and we’re hoping to have the new 2012 frames for both Mark and Max out at the beginning of 2012. Kurt at BMX Union did an AMAZING job of covering all the brands and new products at Interbike; thousands of photos, hundreds of products… Even so, he also had time to create this video, asking the pop-question to all and sundry, “Who has the best 360s in BMX?”

Just got back from Interbike and everyone seems to be nursing various stages of jetlag, sleep deprivation, or general overwhelming sense of overload on BMX industry in general. We had a good little booth, had a really solid reaction to the new parts and frames, and did a few media moments which we’ll embed on here in due course. First up, in no particular order, here’s Mark talking about the new stuff for Fat Tony‘s lens at RideBMX.

NB: Mark’s PA Model frame comes with a 74 degree headtube of course, not the 45 as he says here. Please bear in mind this was filmed shortly after a marathon karaoke session at Ellis Island bar the night before, so he’s excused.

We didn’t change much with our handlebars, since they always go down a treat – but we have added one more size in the line for 2012. The 3XL bar will be coming out in 8.5″ rise with 29″ width… out for 2012.
