Lords of Fun
The time spent on the road, with worries left behind, good friends, and a freespirited smile along for the ride, are some of the best times I have spent during my life as BMXer. A few of us coined the phrase, “Lords of Fun”, as a tongue and cheek movement, towards travel, and adventure, without the limits that labels, or genres, and categories that people often place on themselves.
We ride motorcycles strapped down with BMX bikes, Tents, skateboards, and whatever gear we can squeeze in a back pack, and roll. Some dudes will tag along in a Green Limo, skateboard all day, or ride skateparks, hit up the streets, trails, anything for a smile.
Check out the Video below from the Trip, and check the links for a ton of pics..
The trip was made possible by Tioga, and Least Most and Props
Some of the photos were also featured in The Albion!
Secret FBM Warehouse Ramps.
East Coast Winters usually are not the most temperate… With that in Mind, John Lee, with some wiring help of the big dog, Mike Erb, to get some lighting up, and built some ramps in an unused spot in the warehouse.
The guys all pitched in, and dialed in some makeshift kickers, and went at it. Spine, quarters, wallrides, etc…
Proper east coast winter stokeage.
These photos were all shot within 15 minutes during break… Good times!
Fidelity Bicycle Manufacture.
FBM Bike Co!
Losey once said something to the effect, that he could Imagine the FBM crew making trouble, but the idea of making bikes seemed outrageous. He was the editor of Ride Magazine at the time, that was probably 13 years ago.
The friendly building maniacs in the machine shop, Blaze, Paul and Joby have been turning Iron ore into wonderful, beautifully handcrafted BMX mechanisms, that make getting awesome, even that much more awesome!
Check out the Gypsy frames they built which are currently in stock and available preferred bike shops worldwide through Last Call Distro.
Bikes are awesome, Bikes made at FBM are especially awesome, check one out!

Handle Bars!
Handle Bars are an essential part of one’s bicycle, as well as bmx riding itself.
Who would of thought, that 20 years ago, the Alder bros. and the Mad dog would start spinning them in circles, in mid air. Nowadays, it’s a staple in many young riders repertoires! At FBM we offer great handlebars, for all kinds of riding, call you local dealer today, and score a pair, and make sure you outfit them with FBM double fister grips.
FBM Handle Bars compliment even the most modest Bicycles!

Un possible!
DARRYL NAU! of Blacken fame in outerspace showcasing his FBM Gypsy??? Un possible!
Darryl is a quite a character, a talented rider, an all around great guy, and a blast to party with. It’s an honor to have him space traveling on an FBM, as he is equal parts inspiring and cosmic !
Get Stoked, wear moccasins if you want, eat pizza, do a table top! Heck YA!!!!

Come at me Bro!
With over 3 years of combined BMX experience under our belts, you could say this project has been brewing for quite some time. Mind-bottling numbers seeing as how BMX has only been in the public eye for some 35 years. Our ingenuity and progressive design attitude can’t be quantified in a manner even we can comprehend. We astonish ourselves on a daily basis with ideas not one single product manager has dared to dream.
Behold, the greatest bicycle improvement we’ve ever developed, we humbly suggest the greatest bicycle development ever. Necessity is the Mother of all inventions .The BMX industry is one of the most serious, profitable, and groundbreaking industries in the entire galaxy
You think your Bike company is so cool don’t you? Come at me bro!

Right Side of my Mind… These are some photos of some of the FBM crew as seen on the Least Most!. Henny < kenny, Holladay and the gang all have some cool pics posted.

There are times when you sit back and reflect what BMX and try to define it. And as much as people try to put BMX in a box its rebellious nature and spirit will always take a twist and turn that you may not expect. FBM likes to celebrate the diversity that makes up BMX, and it is that diversity which makes up FBM. The feedback and interaction with the BMX community inspires us to go out and ride and appreciate the experiences we are fortunate to have. It’s people like Lynne who sent us this message that keep on inspiring us.
Hiya!
A healthy fear of old age and a pile of cash for my 54th birthday (yeah, you read that right ) has me a new ride in the form of a V2 Guillotine complete (pretty damn perfect for me at 5’2″ with its 20″ TT and 165 cranks). Added a couple of bits with a nod towards my favourite era, the early 2ks (Shadow Mean post, FBM 39T sprocket, Wellgo DX copies and my old UGP TT pad – just about the only thing I hadn’t managed to sell from bitd) and I love it!!!
. . . damn it feels good to be back on a 20″er
Cheers . . . and Happy New Year!!!
