If you’ve seen Hoang Tran’s GUTI Section more than a few times, you’ve undoubtedly had the guitar riff from Gun’s “Race With The Devil” stuck in your head at some point. This video details the history of the band and the song, how they got the rights to it and re-recording it specifically for the video. While it seems a lot of “cleared music” is just plucked from a random shitty music library, Subrosa really went above and beyond to get the music for Get Used To It.
“Check out this different style edit from Subrosa. We got a chance to sit down with Paul Gurvitz from the band Gun and Three Man Army about what went into the remaking of the song “Race With the Devil” for our full-length video Get Used To It.
This was the first artist we approached in the process of getting clearance for all the music in the video, and it turned out to be a really cool story. Instead of simply just using the existing song, he re-recorded a version just for Hoang Tran’s G.U.T.I. section!”
Freshly bumped to the Subrosa and Shadow pro team, French rider and all around awesome dude Joris Coulomb has a bike check over on the Data website. He’s rocking his brand new signature purple Noster 2 frame as well as the new Raptor freecoaster. Follow this link for more photos of his whip and the full list of parts.
Simone Barraco built up a fresh ride full of Shadow and Subrosa prototype parts. He’s got some new tires, bars, cranks and a fresh looking seat on there. Definitely psyched on this patterned seat wave coming up. They might not last as long, but boy, do they look good. Check the full list of parts right here.
Subrosa is taking your basic ass shop stop and turning into a ‘Park Party’. Some of the Subrosa crew stopped in Palm Springs to shred at King’s Rideshop and goodness followed suit. Instead of just watching Kyle Hart, Lahsaan, and Hoang Tran kill it we get to see some footage from the local cats as well! This is a really cool video, and an even cooler idea. Subrosa also just gave new meaning to ‘cleared music’. Keep your eyes peeled for up and coming park parties being announced this week!
