A few weeks ago the Subrosa Park Party pulled into Chenga World with pros Kyle Hart, Lahsaan Kobza, Hoang Tran and Nick Bullen looking to show the locals a ripping good time. As per usual, it was all smiles and high fives and should get you stoked to make it out if the party comes to your town.
New Zealand shredder Jono Hopping has been on the Subrosa Skeleton Crew for a minute now but never had an official welcome edit until his banging Skeleton Crew welcome video dropped. Today we’re happy to present a remixed version. Jono is a courier driver and always talks about the crazy spots he founds while out delivering. There’s some really awesome stuff in this, a good mix of tech street riding and big deadly stuff. That last rail hop is just insane! Thanks to Subrosa.
Lahsaan Kobza has a fresh new bike check over on the Shadow website where you can peep his new Subrosa Scott Ditchburn signature Thunderbeast frame, his very own signature Penumbra series V3 seat and a lot more new products. Check it out here.
The 5th stop of Subrosa‘s Park Party Tour went down last month at Ray’s with Kyle Hart, Hoang Tran and Nick Bullen making the trip out to ride a little slice of heaven with all the locals. Lines got handled, ramp tramps got kissed and the stoke level was high. The party starts back up tomorrow at The Daily Grind and into next week at Skater’s Edge on June 2nd and Hadley skatepark on June 4th. If you’re anywhere near those, definitely try to make it out!
Hit subrosabrand.com to see more photos from Ray’s and catch the first four park party edits after the jump.
So stoked on this!! The one and only Nico Badet is now riding for Subrosa and Shadow thanks to the awesome French Sparky’s crew! They throw a bike check with Nico in order to proper welcome him to the team that you can check here. Can’t wait for some welcome to the team video to come out!
Since getting a sheet cake to the face and the bump to Subrosa‘s pro team back in March, I knew we’d be in for some new heat from Nick Bullen sooner than later. It looks like he had a couple of productive trips to the desert Southwest, racking up a couple solid minutes of footage for his first pro team edit. If I had to guess, Nick is probably somewhere in a backwards ice as you read this. Here’s what Ryan Sher had to say:
“Nick Bullen has been on the Subrosa Skeleton Crew for a couple years now and we were happy to surprise him with the news that he was getting the bump up to the pro team at our team meeting in Albuquerque a couple months ago. That news capped off a big year for Nick, with tons of travel, tons of riding, and getting the last section in #themichiganvideo. Look for Nick to be reppin Subrosa to the fullest now as a 100%er, (his entire bike) and stay tuned to subrosabrand.com for details of the release of Nick’s signature colorway, dubbed “Nickel Bullen” on the Subrosa Thunderbeast later this summer.”
I met Mark over a decade ago when I would visit my friends in the Tampa/Sarasota region of Florida. He was always a super nice guy and I was psyched when I saw him getting more and more coverage for his riding. He and his girl are very active on Instagram so I thought he/they would be a good candidate for a Roll With segment. I sent a camera to Cape Canaveral and let them take it from there.
“This camera was a part of my life for a few weeks coming with me pretty much everywhere I went including:
New Mexico, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Florida, Colombia and Panama.
It was cool to capture the places I was going and things I was doing on film, with no idea how they would look.”
You can have a look at Joris Coulomb’s fresh Noster II (Joris Coulomb L.E. colorway) set-up on the Subrosa website. Stoked to see that Joco is getting his very own signature colorway, dude is the the best and deserves it! Check out more details and photos here.
If there’s one brand you can always count on to show you a good time at a shop stop or skatepark session, its definitely those Subrosa boys. While out in Albuquerque on their latest team trip earlier this month, the crew turned up at Los Altos and had a bonafide park party with all the locals. From playing double dutch with bikes to having full-on death races for product, this looks like it was a good ass time! If one of the next Park Parties are coming to your area, don’t miss it!
You can also check out previous stops in Palm Springs, at Cranx and The Wheelmill after the jump.
