The fine gentlemen at Subrosa and The Shadow Conspiracy have been working on the Turn It Up to 11 bike for quite some time now. The general theme is a celebration of Shadow entering their 11th year of business. Hence the “Turn It Up to 11″ title.
The build is based on a Subrosa Noster frame and decked out entirely in Shadow parts. From a tubeset, to paint and stickers, and right down to the packaging, this edit showcases the process it takes to make this bike come to life. If you’re interested in getting one of these then act fast because they are limited to 100!
Check out Subrosa’s full 2014 product line in their new catalog. There’s some awesome new stuff in here, including their full range of completes, new frames, parts, softgoods, backpacks and more.
“Ready for all new Subrosa Brand products? We have been working like crazy to update all of our existing products, and create all new ones for you guys. This catalog features everything that’s new and revised with our products, annnnd a few sneak peaks at products that won’t be out until this fall. Not bad.”
This is Scott Ditchburn’s first Subrosa Pro web video from 2010 (he had actually been on pro through Seventies in the UK for a couple years but this edit represented his addition to the US team roster). Even though it’s quite dated it’s still just insane. Since we’ve been filming with Scott so much lately we figured we’d re-up it.
Scott has a part in the new Subrosa video “Get Used To It” which you can buy here.

A couple weeks ago Subrosa dropped the all chrome kit and today they announced that this dope new Money Green colorway, including Scott Ditchburn’s signature Balum V2 and a gold Bandit sprocket, are available now worldwide. If this is looking like your next frame or parts upgrade, get in touch with your local bike shop or mailorder soon!
“Our latest colorway to bless our aftermarket and complete bikes line is Money Green! It’s a high gloss darker green and it looks amazing on bikes. Subrosa pro rider Scott Ditchburn just built up a Balum V2 with Party Bars in this colorway and his bike looks so damn good! Really psyched on how this color worked out. Check out all the parts in detailHERE.”
If there isn’t a Villicus Prime on the wall or Power Pegs in a glass case at your local bike shop, that might be changing soon. Subrosa announced today that QBMX is now distributing their full range of products and will be available for bike shops to begin ordering next month. So if your local shop isn’t BMX-only, but can still get stuff from QBP, you can have them get Subrosa stuff for you. Check out what Ryan Sher and QBP had to say after the jump.
“QBMX is extremely proud to finally, and officially, let the cat out of the bag. We had been talking and working with Subrosa to add their products to our catalog and come mid June we will start seeing their products available for bike shops to order. Awesome!
What does this mean? Well, it means that Subrosa is more accessible now. More bikes shops have the ability to bring this kick ass product into their store for their customers. Whether you’re a bike shop, consumer, hater, lover, rider, or all-around-nice-person… go to Subrosa’s website and check out all of the cool stuff we’re going to be bringing in… then get ready to pick some of it up really soon!” -Glenn Dussl from QBMX
“Thanks guys! We’re looking forward to this partnership as well. The biggest part being that Subrosa will now be available to many more shops, and riders. I’m so happy to work with people that want to help spread the word about Subrosa and BMX in such a positive way, and that’s exactly what QBP is about. Combining their efforts with Subrosa Brand’s current U.S.A. distro, Sparky’s Distribution, it will soon be even easier for everyone from our loyal fans, to brand new riders, to pick up some great Subrosa products.” -Ryan Sher
