Empire teamed up with Vans to produce a vegan friendly run of the BMX Ruark shoe. Designed by Adam Roye and available on Empire’s online store.
Vegan friendly! full canvas upper, Vans BLC cupsole for decreased weight and increased flexibility, Vanslite midsole to help prevent heel bruising and improve comfort, WaffleGrip outsole, dual-layered ollie/tailwhip patch, double-stitched upper for improved durability, gusseted tongue, woven labels.

The Final Vans Orlando Edit

Vans Orlando Skatepark has long since shut it’s doors, but since I spent way too much time there when it was open, I had enough footage to make one last edit from there still.

Supreme & Vans have joined forces once again. This time with 4 colors of the “MC” shoe, which also feature a reflective tongue reminiscent of the greatest basketball shoe EVER.
Always simple, wearable and potentially overpriced. Available March 8th.

A Fly on the Wall

Our good friend Michael De Wit works at Vans and took a little field trip up to Maine with the design team to try their hand at building wood surfboards. Joe Carter put together a great video of their experience and if you look closely, you can see Michael reaping a Defgrip tee! Big thanks to Michael for the support and next time we expect to see our own Defgrip surfboard! haha!
