This was our second trip for the Vans BMX Video that we’re filming all year for. There are some hidden gem skateparks out in the boonies outside of Buenos Aires and we were able to catch a sunset session on our last night in town. Colin Mackay and I are also shooting photos for a book to release around the same time as the video, this toboggan by Coco Zurita will probably find it’s way into those pages.

This spring, Vans Apparel introduces a variety of hat styles including bucket lids, campers and vintage-styled caps. Gregg Kaplan lends his artwork to the Gregg Kaplan Bucket Hat, a cotton bucket lid with a custom pattern on the band. The assortment also presents the Spackler in a multi-colored floral motif and the Montera Reversible Bucket Hat. The 5-panel campers appear in the spring seasonal offering in a mix of colors, prints and materials. Standout colorways include the Pulled 5-Panel with an all-over tonal checkerboard arrangement and the Rich Jacobs Davis 5-Panel with a custom printed bill created by the artist, Rich Jacobs. Rounding out the collection are two dip-dyed color-ups of the Dipped Snapback and a trio of retro-inspired hat silhouettes such as the Salton Snapback, Salton Strapback and Vintage V Strapback. Vans bucket hats, campers, snapbacks and strapbacks retail from $28-$30 USD and are available now at vans.com and Vans flagship stores.
You ever wonder what it’d be like if Bruno had a section in Above/Below? Well wonder no more. Rich Forne lays it out in a way that is both mesmerizing and enlightening. Some of the grinds in here will change the game, others will shit on the game… The point is that it’s a game and clearly Bruno is in the lead. The fakie Luc-e to tooth link is what stood out most to me. It’s so weird to see revisited New York spots get bent over and just ffffuuuuccckkkkeeeddddddd without warning.
The flier pretty much tells you everything you need to know, but this should be a good one.

Tyler Fernengel and extended family rider, Kevin Peraza are officially on the Vans pro team and busted ass in this new Welcome To Vans video.
“These guys are no stranger to riding Vans and we would officially like to welcome Tyler Fernengel, TJ Ellis and Kevin Peraza to the Vans BMX Pro team. There are heaps of road trips planned throughout the year so these guys are going to hit the ground running in waffle soles. Music: “The River” by People’s Temple” – Vans
Tyler Fernengel, Kevin Peraza & TJ Ellis are no stranger to wearing some waffle soles and today they all got the well deserved bump up to the Vans pro team. Good mix of street, dirt & park in this with Justin Kosman behind the lens and a crazy last clip brought to you by no other than Tyler Fernengel.
Extra: People really need to stop spelling Tyler’s last name wrong. F-E-R-N-E-N-G-E-L

Here’s Jacob unleashing a fury of tech at the local Vans park in Huntington Beach. Hit play and then prepare to hit rewind because you’ll definitely want to watch some of these moves twice.
My dude Roy Van Kempen is now riding for Vans (Benelux) and here’s his amazing welcome to the team video! Filmed around Amsterdam, Roy fucking destroys every rails and ledges the city has to offer! That last rail ride clip is so insane! Filmed and edited by the don Tom Lammerse.
Despite getting screwed on their AirBnB reservation, it looks like the Van’s team had a good time during the weekend of Toast. They even had a chance to check out some skateparks and spots around the Austin area.
